Graphic 45 Curtain Call mini album

It's always lots of fun using Graphic 45 paper and the Curtain Call Collection is just soooo artistic. LOVE IT! Got the paper, lace, Glossy Accents, ribbon, inks, glues, ephemera, flowers and punches all other supplies at The Front Desk in Newport, Vermont. They've got it all.

Mini Album September 2011 Life's a Game

I made this mini for my friend, Kim, for her birthday. I'm calling this one  Life's a Game. I filled it with game pieces like checkers and dice, etc.  I used mostly Jenni Bowlin paper and made the front and back covers from a checkerboard game. I put some photos in it but left spaces for her to put some of her own in there too. She's got some awesome photos from her skiing, kayaking and hiking adventures. Play Hard, Kim and Happy Birthday!

I used naked chipboard for the pages and painted them black around the edges before putting the designer paper on  them. The binding holding the pages together is black duct tape.

The tags are held on with brads and swing to reveal photos underneath. Then applied to cardstock so the whole thing becomes a pocket for more tags and photos.

I photocopied some old games I've found in my junque excursions....the Lotto game and the Tiddledy winks game boxes.

Mini album box

I'm sending this album in answer to a challenge issued on my Facebook page calling for someone to make something home-made in exchange for the same. But I thought it needed a proper box to store it in. I hope she likes it. Do you think she'll guess that it's made from a cereal box? Let's just keep that under wraps for now!
Wonder what I'll get??!!!

Crayon Style Box

Inside accordian style tags for photos and journaling

This is a box pattern from Laura Dennison. She used a Graphic 45 paper collection and it was so darn cute! But I have to use up some things from my stash or I won't have even a corner left to work from....I know, poor me, right? So I used a variety of paper I got a few years back at a Scrapbook Convention. It's a School collection from a company called Diane's Daughters and I like the way it turned out. But check out her Crayon Box using Graphic 45's new release called ABC Primer. So darn cute.
